Do you hear that sound? It's Holy Diver Playing again.
Now I'd like to talk about the definition of "Beginner." You don't enter the Beginner class just beause it's your first contest. You enter the Beginner class because you don't have a deep trick bag. So, let's say, for instance, you're pulling brakeless hang fives all the way across the big pyramid.

You might want to consider stepping up a class.

If you can get Papa Kent to stop putting Fritos in his mouth to watch you
pull a 450 transfer into the baby quarter, you really should've stepped
it up.

At least this kid had the decency to transfer it in straight in front of
a gaggle of retirees. I'm pretty sure that Sean was singing along to Holy
Diver.

Oh look at me, I have whitewall tires and I can pull off Lawnmower fufanus
on the wedge without brakes 'cos I'm a "beginner."

At least this trick is beginnerish.

Los Cuatro Amigos
You can't hate on anyone who peg wheelies across th deck.

While this transfer requires more math than I'm actually willing to do on
a Sunday to explain, I can say with relative certainty that "Holy Diver"
was playing in the background. Possibly even the Killswitch Engage version.

A group of us were talking about this kid for entering beginner. Y'see,
Mick Malick entered intermediate, basically, because everyone told him he
was too good to enter beginner and this kid was going for 450 transfers
up the step up. Seriously, the cats in the Pro class weren't going for 450s
up the step up. Of course, we said all of this right next to the kid's mom
who was all, "He didn't know!!! This is his first contest!!!!"
oops.
Anyway, bail from a 450 attempt. When did people stop rounding in BMX, anyway?
Kid never pulled this abubaca clean, but it was NOT from lack of trying.
