Trick this noise, ever since I heard that they were casting Jessica "Mr. Ed With a Boob Job" Simpson as Daisy Duke I've boycotted everything that had to do with the Dukes, including their county and skatepark! Jessica Simpson isn't fit to hold Catherine Bach's coke habit! Also, I was still trying to do moral support on the family emergency (everything worked out ok) and, honestly, I really didn't feel like driving. I live near United, I have a buddy in Newnan (also Mirra was going to be at stop three) so, no Hazard for me.
Let's get this out of the way. I'm not a professional photographer. I am what would be best termed as an occasional enthusiast. What I have is a decent eye for photographic framing (which I inherited from my dad, who is a big photogeek), but not so much a good grasp of a lot of technique (which unfortunately skipped a generation). I also can't justify spending too much money on equipment, since it doesn't make me money. As such I've got two main cameras, a Kodak Z7490 which was a pretty good "pro-sumer" level digital a couple of years ago that allows all sorts of customization and control of shots, but has possibly the world's worst shutter lag and a Minolta Maxxum QTsi, "the point-and-shoot SLR." The Minolta has a lot less shutter lag (good), handles better in low light (good) and takes pretty good quality pics (good) but also has almost not control (bad). The problem with Factory was that it was both low light and fast action, which gave my camera fits.
So, anyway, the next few pages are all about the pictures at Factory. Enjoy them. I tried to clean them up some (with varying success) via PaintShop Pro. If anyone out there has the desire or the skill to run them through your favorite imaging program and make them pretty, I have large resolution scans from when I got the film developed. Of course, the good people at Walgreens scanned EVERY PICTURE IN UPSIDE DOWN. But, you know, what can you do. Also, if you don't have a broadband connection, go have dinner,
